Just goes to show nothing in life is free and even free advice comes with its issues. I say take from it what you can as there was some valuable info there, even if it was from supercilious jerks :)

Don't shy away from posting, just be VERY upfront with who you are and what you want. If you fill in your profile, one can very easily take a peek and see this is someone from the industry that is stuck, not some Bob (sorry every one is Bob in this reference) with a video camera and a computer.

This is the High-End forum but unfortunately gets people at all different levels with questions. Most people here are professionals who share what they can at no gain to themselves and yes, tend to be a bit edgy in answering lower-end questions. Searching will usually find an answer to those questions as we have all covered them at one time or another.
