AJHD 1700 Menu Settings

Hey Gang quick one for you....we just got a AJHD 1700, and to change the menu settings the book tells us to get into the menu, then scroll to the specific menu, then push the "ADJ" knob which will light up the setting, then turn dial to change the setting...finishing off by hitting the "SET" button on the function keys.

Nothing is happening when we push the "ADJ"(adjust knob). Does anyone know if there is a lock out for menu settings on this deck?

I've done all kinds of key combinations and nothing works.

Anyone...Mr. Zelin?? Any thoughts appreciated.
