You do not have DVCPro HD on a mini dv tape. The HVX 200 does not record in HD to the tape drive.

What you would have on the tape is DVCPro footage. The question is which flavor? Is it DVCPro 25 or 50?

This is a good example of why you should just use the cards to shoot on. Shoot on the cards, transfer the footage to a drive, and just bring it where you want with no worries about capturing tape. Even if you don't know what it is you can get into the NLE by elimination.
