Beware of the timing difference if your shooting 23.98 but are required to deliver SD 29.97 df downconverts in addition to your HD masters. You'll have different show durations going from 23.98ndf to 29.97df. It is always best to work backwards from the final deliverables. My next broadcast project I am going to save the headache and shoot 1080i 29.97df which will ensure all my SD masters match in duration....
