My D1800 does do upconvert from dbeta and IMX (whoever uses that) but there are instances where another format may require HD from SD while the bulk of material is HD native. The one I have seen in use is made by FOR-A ... seems quite good although I have heard some great things about teranex. Yet to see it in action.. I am told there are a variety of versions of those any suggestions?
