Oh, so these are just AVI files! Great. I was worried the device wouldn't capture to a format I could process easily with virtualdubmod. (Yes I know it's old, but it's useful in my job).

One last question: do you know if laptop support has improved for this device? I see a lot of people using it with laptops on youtube. I was going to order a really top of the line i7 Sager laptop, NP9170, but unsure if this would work with it.
