Re: ATEM 1 vs ATEM TVS....input needed

I was looking at different options, from the one you mentioned, to using one of my digital mixers with aes/ebu. However having some of the other options for output on the ATEM 1 (such as a constant live composite output, to use to a DVD/DV recorder as a backup, analog A/V in/out, etc) are appealing. I have read at length on this forum as well as others to get the "real" answers on the nuts and bolts of these two items. You had a great post on the ATEM 1 a couple months backs, but gleaning info off of BM's website on the real facts of either one, is difficult, hence my post with detailed questions. I am considering on upgrading to the ATEM 1, and need to consider the cost vs other converters that I would need. Thanks for your input on options.
