MJPEG motion compression clips?
by Joe Beckwith on Oct 30, 2009 at 9:29:51 pm

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to just make clips out of video captured with media express in MJPEG compression format.

Usually when I record the clips are at least 10-20 minutes long each... and I tend to only want to save maybe 30 seconds of each one.

Is there a way to just take a snippet of the clip and save it with the same type of compression (compressed motion JPEG)? I know how to export as AVI in virtualdub... but those filesizes are HUGE.

Thanks,
Joe
