Intesity Pro Uncompressed into Avid
by Malcolm Barton on Oct 27, 2009 at 9:38:21 pm

I am capturing with my Intesity Pro and I want to import the uncompressed AVIs into Avid Media Composer but it will not work. Why is this? I thought uncompressed video files work with any software. After selecting the import option in Avid it just does nothing at all. If I capture in MJPEG Avid imports it with no problems.

How can I get it to work? Also how come there are only two options, one of 8 bit uncompressed and one of MJPEG? I thought you could capture 10 bit?

I spend a bit of money on all of this and I really want to get it to work ASAP.

Thanks
Malcolm
