Black Magic Analog to SDI vs. AJA HD10ava

I've searched high and low -- and can't find an opinion regarding the "real world" differences between the:

$500 Black Magic Analog to SDI
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/miniconverters/

and the...

$900 AJA HD10AVA
http://www.aja.com/products/converters/converters-hd-hd10ava.php

Anyone have an opinion on this -- or any rationalization regarding the added value of the AJA box?
