Re: Installed Intensity card, have to trash FCP prefs constantly

Just wanted to update in case anyone else has the problem.
Shane Ross on the FCP board and Albert with Blackmagic both suggested
moving the graphics card to slot 1 and the Intensity video card to slot
4. This seems to have solved my problem with the canvas and monitor going black in FCP.
Also, since installing the Intensity card, I was having problems opening other applications such as Soundtrack Pro and even iTunes.
Albert suggested running "Repair Permissions" in the disk utility.
This seems to have fixed this issue as well.
I can now report that I am very happy with the Blackmagic Intensity card
and I'm quite happy with tech support at Blackmagic. Props to Albert and Shane Ross for bird-dogging this one for me.
