Marc LaporteNo HDV output with Multibridge Pro and FCP 6
by on Apr 6, 2009 at 9:41:59 am

Hi everybody,

I'm currently using a Multibridge Pro on a Final Cut Pro 6 editing station. Until now I mostly used SD footage, but recently I've experienced some HDV editing.

Dispite of choosing the right preset (Blackmagic HDV 1080i50), I can't monitor my timeline on my HD monitor - connected through HD SDI.

I didn't capture the footage with the Blackmagic codec but with the native HDV FCP codec. Could the problem come from there?

Downconvert monitoring work though - but previewing HDV in a DV resolution on a 1080 wide screen is not really the best option.

Thanks for your help.
