Thanks Rob, I re-installed the 6.7 version software but I still have the problem. I'll try the PRAM reset next. The system info has never recognized the Quartz Extreme capabilities of the second monitor so I don't know if that has anything to do with it since the problem has disappeared and reappeared with certain updates.





Primary System Info -
Mac Pro 2x3.2 Quadcore - 10.5.6 - QT 7.5.5 - 14 GB RAM - nvidia8800GT - SATA internal & external storage - Blackmagic Multibridge Pro (v6.7)- Open GL 1.5.9 - Wacom Intous2 tablet
