Edit to tape via Component / Decklink Extreme HD

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make a playout from Final Cut 6.0.4 over YUV on a BetaSP PVW-2800P. I'm using Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme with the 6.8 driver. My video card becomes a working reference signal.
I have no problems with edit to tape over SDI on my Digibeta but via component it just doesn't work. When I try to make an assemble edit oder insert edit Final Cut freezes when it is supposed to start with the program. The BetaSP is correctly running and working fine with RS-422.
Then I tried to make a playout with Blackmagic Deck Control - to exclude a Final Cut Bug. Same problem. When the program is supposed to start, the YUV signal goes away. After that, the Decklink will not work anymore as long as I do a reebot of the system.
Then I tried older driver versions - just to assert that they won't work with my Decklink card. I tried 6.62 and 6.7.
Is there any hope for me??? ;-)
All the best
cheers
