Intensity Card won't capture.

I have not been able to use my intensity card for capture since I got it. I spoke to tech. support and they were not able to pin down why it didn't work via emails or over the phone so they had me send it in. On their side they said it worked perfectly but I have not been able to use it other than an external preview and I'd really like to utilize the benefits of it's uncompressed capture capabilities.
Any ideas? I've tried hooking up a standard dvd player w/hdmi and also with component cables. I have bootcamp on my mac and have tried it in osx and vista x64 with no luck. Anyone else ever have this problem. Maybe it's a simple setting. I believe I have the latest V2.0 update installed.
I've set it for hdmi input in control panel and in media express tried to capture a clip without any luck.
Once I get the card working I'd like to capture uncompressed via my HVX200(component cables) or hdmi with a camera like a Canon HV-30.
Would appreciate any help.
