We got all formats to play back by uninstalling the 1.8.4 drivers, then installing FinalCut Pro, so all the proper codecs were in place then reinstalling the 1.8.4 drivers.

Now the issue seems to be that some files play fine while others, of the same format, will start to play then the video stops while the audio continues...

I will contact BMD Support and see if they can look into this.
