Closed caption not working
by

Hi, I seem to have lost the ability to capture closed caption through my Multibridge SD converter. Video converts just fine from component to SDI but when i capture to my 844x it won't playback the closed caption. It looks as if its going in while viewing in underscan mode and shows line 21(?) moving above the video where the captions should be and i can see the text appear on a regular monitor while capturing but doesn't show it on on a regular monitor during playback from the timeline. So I took the Blackmagic out and used a different converter and it works fine.
I don't see any option for preferences to change in the Multibridge utility. I'm just using the basic one for the SDI conversion. All i have for options is 'Devices' and 'Profiles'. I looked online for an update but didn't see one for the SD version.
Is this fixable or do I need to replace the converter?
Thanks!
