I own the Canon 60d and the Panny HMC-150
I shot a wedding with both, in a similar manner that you described...
Panny for the wide shots and Canon for the tight shots...
Post was a pain in the butt, that said, it did end up working out alright...
I don't think I'd do it again, unless I had to... they just look different.
The footage out of my 60d was far easier to work with in post, (it held up better to grading and just had more latitude within the picture itself, which blew my mind) and ended up looking better, in my opinion...
although in the end the client couldn't tell two different kinds of cameras were used... so I guess that's what's important.
