I never got the footage recovered. Transcend claimed they looked at it and then they sent me a new card. I had a couple of more cards go down. I've sent them to Panasonic and they are sending them to Japan. They've determined that I had a bad camera - something was wrong with the board. So I'm getting a brand new camera, not just a repair. At least that gives me a little more confidence now. But it's been a hassle and I've lost footage and money as a result of cards going down.
