The HMC150 is a tiny bit larger than the DVX100 but lighter because it has no tape deck inside. Otherwise, I'd go with two DVX100Bs and squeeze mode. The anamorphic adapter was great in its day when there was no other alternative for 16:9 on the original DVX100. But it's a pain to use and makes the camera nose-heavy. And the results are not that different from the on-board squeeze mode.
