Thoughts on teleconverters

Hi.

Anyone purchased a teleconverter for the DVX-100B? I was looking at the Raynox HDP-9000EX 1.8x High Definition Telephoto Conversion Lens...sells for about $900. Wondering how it performs and if the distance gained is worth the cash. Interested in any thoughts you have on this lens or other brands of TCs. Thanks!
