I half disagree with Chris. I really do use the stereo effect you get with Nat sound on shots, especially cars passing by or people walking/talking. I'm mainly a one-man band and don't get the luxury of a sound-man most of the time, and especially one with a dedicated stereo boom rig.

Is it a must have... Absolutely not. Nice to have, heck yeah, it's totally useable.
