video out frame marker

Hi there

Cant get the view finder frame markings from the HDX900 to appear on a SD Sony Monitor?

Have set the video menu items,as far as I can see.. and set the character on switch on the side of the camera.

get an image fine,and see the menu... but cant get the frame markers up?
