Hi Ray:

As John states, yes it can be done, but it requires skill and tools. One possible exception to this premie is that the HDX900 does not have VariCam's Film REC Ciengamma mode, so you can't match the 900 to a VariCam if shooting in Film Rec. Many folks often match the VariCam to the 900.... this works quite well and happens often.
