Varicam / Firestore Question
by

I have a client on the west coast that requests it's dps shoot with the Sony F900 at 24p (they are a hardcore hdcam house) but I've talked them into letting me use my Varicam whenever they hire me. They like my footage, but complain about having to rent a Panasonic deck to transfer out to their system. Is there a way that I can simply download my footage to a Firestore via firewire with my 1200A deck and send it to them? I do not own a Final Cut Pro editing system.
I also have a client on the east coast that still wants to shoot with the Panasonic SDX900 24p / 16x9. I've been shooting with my Varicam and sending them my 1200A to do the downconvert transfer. Is there an easy way to do a downconvert into to a Firestore via firewire with my 1200A and just send the Firestore unit to them instead of my deck?
Thanks for any suggestions.
