Playback appliance
by Rich Rubasch on May 21, 2008 at 1:41:53 am

Hi guys;

I have a tour installation that will project from a 4:3 projector at 1420 x 1060. I need to find a device that can be controlled by a Celestron or other controller and playback a 4:3 file format. I don't care what the file format is. Just that it can play back file formats that support large 4:3 video, like WMV and QT.

I suggested a MacMini, but not sure how to control the playback. It will play a 2 minute clip, then go to black, reset and be ready for the next tour.

thoughts?
