I'm thinking about using the new go-pro wi-fi kit to stream one still an hour to the web if I can get a network set up near my location.
Would you recommend another approach or camera?
The camera will be outdoors the entire time and in a (relatively) remote location.
So, I'll need to run power and some how get a wi-fi out there somehow.
Basically, I'll have a camera (tbd) up at least 20-30ft in the air capturing a year long time lapse to the web of an area about 2-3 acres large.
Things to consider: power (go pro can remain charged if you use a motorola cell charger), space (the card will need to be changed out after a while), range (no wi-fi around at this time) and protection (in addition to the housing, additional step need to taken to protect the camera).
