Sorry for not posting sooner.
I use Telestream Wirecast. See the COW forum for it.

Many people use Grass Valley ADVC-55 in Wirecast which sees it like a DV camera. While DV cameras tend to be limited to one per bus, many have found two ADVC-55 can work on the same bus.

Wirecast is a switcher in addition to an encoder so it will recognize multiple sources simultaneously for transitions and Picture in Picture.

What device you need really depends on what your sources are and what computer you're using.
Osprey cards work on Windows as well.
Blackmagic cards are cross platform.
Matrox MXO2 works well on Mac.
