codec for pay-per-view .mov??

I want to prep a number of my own films to be hosted on a website as pay-per-view options. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to prep a Quicktime (in whatever format) so as it will disintegrate after 48 hours of being started (such as the iTunes movies).
Is such a codec in public domain? How does one find out about it, specs and all? Can it be created using FCP or Compressor et. al.?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated,
Ben
