Live JPEG image stream or Live MPEG Video ??

Hi all!

I'm trying to define the best solution for my live media stream of 2 frames per second (2 frames per second is perfect for me).. I'm not sure if I should go for a stream of JPG image files or a live MPEG stream which on my camera is available in 10 frames per seconds. First of all, the JPG stream seems a lot smaller to me, which is good because I don't want to have too much of a dataload on the server (costs more money obviously), however it seems dificult to impliment this technique (refreshing a JPG image on a website every 500 miliseconds) .. So the MPEG stream seems to be a better solution, however, it has a much bigger stream (in kB's) - at least, that's what I'm guessing..

What's your opinion about this? Have you got any advice for me???
