Re: Quicktime files won't autoplay

Thanks very much, Daniel - your information is super helpful. Compositing has always played second fiddle in my program, so we never even touched data rates. Our workflow has been to render animated frames in Autodesk Maya as Targa files, collect them in After Effects, and then spit out MPEG-4 files. That's about as detailed as we've gotten.

Would a switch to H.264 automatically push the data rate down or are there ways to adjust that rate using MPEG-4 or other compression methods? Thank you again - I really appreciate the help everyone's given.
