Michael,
You obviously didn't read Jon's post properly, or didn't understand the problem. He already has a site and a method of hosting his content. He has already transcoded it, it's just not at the right frame size. An easy and free fix, he doesn't appear to need a hosting/conversion service.
A quick google for your Bio pulls this up:
I am an entrepreneur committed to success and helping family, friends, and business colleagues become debt free via streaming video communications.
Yes, I am into network marketing. First and foremost, people get a bad taste in thier mouth when they hear that word, Network Marketing. Automatically people think that it's a 'pyramid thing', yet they have no idea truly what a pyramid is..............
------------------------
"My website would be no different than referring Jon to any other third party program or even to a Microsoft website for further information relating to an article or software"
You offer
not one bit
of tech advice, article or indeed software or anything like that. Your site is selling a 'managed service'. Microsoft offer software for download along with a huge library of support articles and manuals...
You are part of an 'Affiliate marketing program' under the hood of VMDirect and as far as I'm concerned you posted here simply to try and give your service advertising in the hope of generating business, not to help.
I'm sure Jon didn't post here in the hope of becoming 'debt free via streaming video'
As it was your only post to any of the COW forums, it seemed clear to me that it was spam. If you are genuinely offering help and advice I would have thought we would have seen your posts before, and in a number of other forums, offering genuine help and advice, seeing as you are a 'International Digital Media Expert', not just an 'entrepreneur'
Anyway, I took a good look at your service. -
So you offer conversion to 'over 122 different formats' - really! If you really think you can, please post a full list of all of the
different
formats here - I've obviously missed out on a whole load in my long career in television and video.
I also took a look at some of the sample clips you show. The main Hello World sales pitch clip didn't fill the frame, the video quality was very low considering the data rate, it looked like it was a 4th generation rip and difficult to watch as it was transcoded at only 10fps, even a low powered cell phone from a few years ago can do higher frame rates than that.
Then I saw where you got the clip from - the main HelloWorld.com site. Here the clip is presented better but still not correctly!, at least it's 640x480 at 29.97fps and a fairly respectable data rate.
If I was looking for a conversion/hosting service, I'd want to use somebody who could deliver high quality, efficiently encoded video. Your 'shop windows' show nothing of the sort.
I look forward to your response and the list of 122 DIFFERENT video formats you can create!
