Thanks, Daniel. It seems to definitely be a frame size issue. When I render out a SWF at 640x480, the picture is markedly better - near perfect. I've been told by our IT people that to get that balance of quality and performance on our network, though, we want to be at 320x240. So, I might just have to live with what we've got until we can increase our bandwidth on our intranet.

PS - deinterlacing made no difference, and using the CS3 Flash Video Encoder, there is no option for choosing single or dual pass - just a choice between codec - the new On2 or the old Sorensen
