Poor quality when exporting to Mpeg4 from Final Cut Pro
by bjones006 on Aug 22, 2007 at 3:32:59 pm

I am new to the art of compression. I am currently using final cut pro 5 and exporting my videos to Mpeg4. I am not happy with the quality of the video. Would I be better off to export as a quicktime movie from FCP and use Sorenson Squeese to compress to Mpeg4? Will there be a noticable difference. I have not used the Sorenson program yet but will buy it if there will be an increase in quality of compression.

The videos vary in length... from 3 minutes to 25 minutes.

Thanks in advance!

Brad
