Hi Jan,

Parts of your post seem confusing. I assume you mean WMV (and wma for audio). I can't imagine how changing Audio from CBR to VBR would cut file size by 30%. From my experience, most stick with CBR for Audiio unless they have a specific reason not to.

I'm sure many would say H.264 gives better looking results all things being equal in most circumstances (although they Rarely are) but given your content WMV may very well look as good and for many reason may be a better choice.

You don't mention what bit rate you want/need. To lower the Video Bit Rate in H.264 simply adjust Restrict to x kbits/sec in the Video settings. The final bit rate is the combintation of Audio & Video Bit Rate so you may want to lower your audio Target Bit Rate in the Audio Settings too but it all depnds on what quality you're willing to lose (are you using AAC? You don't mention it).
