Widows Media Player Codec Info

Hi! I'm compressing 6 minute video sequences with Windows Media Player 7 codec.
I figured this was the best codec to use as it will work on MOST peoples machines (broadband).
I did a compression test between codec 7, 8 and 9 at 320x240 208kbps and there seems to be no difference between these codecs at this size.
My Probelm is...
When the video is streaming off of the net, I am able to right click on the video, goto properties, and get all the information about the clip ie; bit rate, location, video codec, audio codec.
I am wanting to withhold this information from my viewer...Is this possible?
Thanks very much
Mike
