Pro Import FCP only imports sequences, here are a couple of options...
You can use Sebsky Tools (google it) to translate ALEs exported from the Avid bins to FCP shot logs.
You can also edit the shots from your bins into sequences just for the purpose of the translation via Pro Import FCP.
The idea of a temporary sequence is this...
Take "Bin A" in your Avid.
In Bin A create "Sequence A".
Drag all the clips in Bin A into Sequence A. IN and OUT points don't matter.
Export Sequence A to OMF or AAF.
Import Sequence A.omf/.aaf into FCP via Pro Import FCP.
Now you have a sequence and a bin called "Sequence A Clips". All the clips in this bin are the clips from Bin A. Rename the bin "Bin A" and delete the sequence.
Repeat for bins B, C, D, etc.
