TriCaster STUDIO allows KISS 108 FM to live stream 12 hour concert

(San Antonio, Texas--May 16, 2008) NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading video and 3D animation products, today announces KISS 108 FM of Medford, MA and TriCaster™ will bring the entire KISS Concert ‘08 using TriCaster’s web streaming capabilities.

The concert will air Sunday live to your home from www.kiss108.com, May 18th, from noon to midnight Eastern Standard Time.

“The KISS Summer concert is our biggest event of the year,” said Justin Emery, KISS 108 Promotions Coordinator. “By live webcasting the concert, fans can watch this sold-out concert in Boston or around the world.”

Major music stars from across the world will be part of this live web stream. After 14 years apart, New Kids on the Block are reuniting to perform for the KISS audience, along with teen sensation Jonas Brothers and their chart-topping single “SOS”. British songstress Natasha Bedingfield currently owns the airwaves alongside fellow KISS Concert performer Sean Kingston with their mega hit “Love Like This”. Pianist and songwriter Sara Bareilles is best known for her single “Love Song”, while Flo Rida became an overnight success with his hit “Low”. Hometown favorites Boys Like Girls are celebrated for their current hit “Hero/Heroine”, while Cascada, the German Eurodance act best known for their club-inspired covers of major hits, have become timeless with their current single “What Hurts the Most”. Music industry veteran Wyclef Jean is sure to bring some hip hop flair, while budding recording artist Leona Lewis will bring a taste of something new to KISS Concert ’08.

More than 360,000 KISS listeners have attended KISS concerts, which have featured more than 380 artists. Now you can join the celebration with the power of TriCaster and NewTek.

“TriCaster’s portability, price point and ease of use allow radio stations like Clear Channel-owned KISS 108 in Boston to try new ideas like streaming their most popular live event and find new ways to promote their stations to a worldwide audience”, said Philip Nelson, NewTek SVP of Strategic Development. “After owning the TriCaster for less than a week, it’s exciting to see them tackling a 12 hour live web event with such high stakes.”
