News: Sans Digital Re-introduces SAFE33 / SAFE50 2-Bay Storage Subsystems with LCD
by Cow News Droid on May 13, 2008 at 10:10:38 pm

(City of Industry, California--May 13, 2008) Sans Digital, a leading brand name of high performance storage subsystems, is introducing its newly designed 2-bay storage product: MobileSTOR MS2UT+.

After the very successful launch of the MobileSTOR MS2UTN+, Sans Digital is releasing the MS2UT+ based on the same industry proven Silicon Image 5744 chipset with customized LCD display to provide users with easy access to detailed system information.

By integrating seven RAID modes into a 2-bay storage unit, the previous MS2UTN+ received highly rated scores from popular technology review sites, such as ExtremeTech, OCIA, BRnR, and ASE Labs. The MobileSTOR series MS2UT+ is based on the same chipset and features as the MS2UTN+, with customized firmware designed for home and small business storage needs. In addition to the revolutionary SAFE30 and SAFE50 RAID capability, the MS2UT+ is designed with a stylish blue LCD screen for effortless RAID setup via front panel navigation buttons. Temperature settings for fan actions could be adjusted via the same method. Password and hard drive status could also be obtained via the LCD screen.

"Silicon Image is pleased that our SteelVine® storage processors have been chosen by Sans Digital to help enable the advanced functionality of their MobileSTOR Plus series storage devices," said Conrad Maxwell, SteelVine® Senior Product Line Manager at Silicon Image. “Sans Digital has a reputation of providing affordable, state-of-the-art storage solutions and Silicon Image is proud to be associated with them." Both the MS2UT+ and the MS2UTN+ features stylish and lightweight aluminum housing, as well as cable-less back panel design. To reinforce flexibility, individual units are available in both silver and black (B) to suit personal references and styles. Both models incorporated operating system independent design with support for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. “One of Sans Digital’s primary goal is to lead the storage market with state-of-the-art technology,” stated Grandy Chen, Sans Digital’s President. “These newly improved additions to the MobileSTOR series is guaranteed to provide unparallel performance and value to meet the most intensive data storage demands.” For more details on MS2UT+ / MS2UT+B, please visit: http://www.sansdigital.com/mobilestor/ms2utplus.html and http://www.sansdigital.com/mobilestor/ms2utplusb.html.
