News: MOO Studios Signs Pamela Hanson

(Los Angeles, California--May 12, 2008) Continuing to expand its talent roster, Los Angeles-based hybrid creative studio MOO, which specializes in animation, commercials, interactive, and talent management proudly announces the signing of famed fashion photographer Pamela Hanson, to their Commercial division.

Pamela was most recently at Grand Large based in New York and France.

Pamela has worked on a wide variety of commercial campaigns for brands including: Apple, Nivea, L'Oreal, Kenzo, Stride Rite, and Mercedes, to name a few. MOO Partner/EP David Lyons comments on the addition, "I have always been a fan of Pamela's photography, and knew that she would be a great addition to the MOO family. The way in which she captures fresh, easy lifestyle moments in such an interesting manner will be great contrast to Ellen's (Von Unwerth, currently signed with MOO for commercials) sexy take on spotwork."

With over twenty years experience in the fashion industry, Pamela is a world-renowned photographer whose work has been regularly featured in: Marie Claire (American, English, Australian), Vogue (English, French, American, German, Italian), Glamour (American, English, Italian), GQ, Allure, Vanity Fair, D Magazine, Elle, Nylon and Jane. Other stateside clients include: Tommy Hilfiger, Joseph, Lancome, Lancaster, Maybelline, Halston, Giorgio, Max Mara, Emporio Armani, Ann Taylor, Avon, Biotherm, Redbook, Coach, Pantene, Victoria's Secret, and Jockey; and in Europe: Joseph and Les Copains. "I love the fact that MOO offers so much more than just commercial production," noted Hanson. "David (Lyons) has such a great understanding and appreciation for photographers that I feel extremely comfortable allowing him to take the lead with my filmmaking career."

In September of 2001, Hanson released Girls, a 200+ page photo book filled with personal and professional work, color and black and white images, which has had worldwide success. In Spring 2006, Pamela released Boys, which is full of personal and professional images of boys being boys, and a powerful follow up to Girls.

Hanson was born in London, grew up in Geneva, and educated at the American school in Lugano, Switzerland. She later attended the University of Colorado, where she pursued her studies in fine arts.

The MOO Commercial division roster includes directors Shaun Sewter, Adam Byrd, Ellen Von Unwerth, Guy Fisher, Olaf Heine, and Pamela Hanson. The independent sales team consists of Toni Saarinen and Erika Sheldon of Saarinen on the west coast, Mary Ford of Mary Ford Co. for the east coast, and Hillary Herpst of Hilly Reps in the midwest.

MOO Who?
Moo Studios is a LA-based production studio specializing in both animation and live action commercials. The animation department of Moo Studios, creates both comedic and dramatic animated commercials for TV and web. The studio is a collective of permanent and semi-permanent animation artists based around the core talents of Shaun Sewter and Adam Byrd. Animation styles include: stop motion, traditional drawn and paint, multi media, cut out, Flash and CGI. MOO Studios maintains its own insert and animation stage complete with a motion control camera system.

The live action side of Moo Studios specializes in cross-over talent of high fashion, beauty, celebrity and lifestyle photographers who are now working in film. This area of work is largely based around the celebrated photographer/directors, Ellen Von Unwerth and Olaf Heine.
