News: Introducing "The Almost Perfect Camcorder Stabilizer: Levelpod"
by Cow News Droid on Oct 20, 2007 at 2:16:18 am

(10/19/2007 Frisco, CO, USA) "Levelpod was invented after my 25 years as a videographer because I could not find a perfect do-it-all camcorder stabilizer.

My first invention is called Levelcam. Now, there's Levelpod. They perform so well together, that I can't blame them if the shot doesn't work. It's almost perfect."

-Tim Nixon/ Inventor of Levelpod and Levelcam.

Levelpod is designed for handheld and vehicle video production for motion pictures, reality shows, news, corporate, and event videography.

Levelpod uses basic principles to achieve motion stabilization:

1) Balance: Allows the camcorder to float, where it becomes light to the touch.

2) Imbalance: Allows the camcorder to naturally be upright and level.

3) Leverage: Fine control and motion dampening from using both hands.

The combined effect allows the operator to guide the camcorder in a fluid motion. It also converts quickly into a monopod. Levelpod is the ultimate support system for camcorders weighing up to 6 pounds. Levelpod is patent pending.

Levelpod transforms into several configurations for using multiple shooting techniques:

1) Shoulder Balanced: Tight shots are steady. The head tilts for dramatic shots.

2) Side Balanced: Static shots, twist, bend down, walk, and even run with Levelpod.

3) Flag Pole Position: Extend the monopod and brace the foot on your waist or thigh.

4) Handheld Pendulum: For tight spaces. Balance at 45 degrees for a better grip.

5) Monopod. Static shots, pans, and zooms.

6) Levelcam quick releases for additional handheld shots or mounting to a tripod.

The Levelpod system includes Levelpod, Levelcam, hardware, strap and soft weights and is only $399.95 USD. Existing owners of Levelcam can upgrade at any time to Levelpod for $350 USD. Levelcam is only $49.95. Available now exclusively from the inventor at www.levelcam.com

Baughan Productions, Inc. is owned by Tim Nixon and offers a wide variety of video production services, including the development and sale of Levelcam and Levelpod.
