Automatic Duck Pro Import AE 3.03 Adds MXF Compliance to Support Avid DNxHD

(SEATTLE, WA - January 18, 2006) Automatic Duck (www.automaticduck.com), the creators of Timeline Integration Engine software for digital media artists, today announced the immediate availability of Pro Import AE 3.03 – a new, enhanced version of the company's flagship Timeline Integration solution for the newly-launched Adobe® After Effects® 7.0.

With the launch of Pro Import AE 3.03, Automatic Duck is also addressing key capabilities for Avid editors, including MXF compliance to support Avid AAF compositions. 

This new development is targeted for Avid Adrenaline, Xpress Pro HD and Symphony Nitris users, as they can now, for the first time, leverage Pro Import AE to support Avid AAF compositions that reference MXF media, including DNxHD and uncompressed HD.

Pro Import AE 3.03 is compatible with the newly-launched Adobe After Effects 7.0, and is also compatible with previous versions including After Effects 6.0 and 6.5.  After Effects artists who are planning to upgrade to After Effects 7.0, and who are currently using Pro Import AE 3.0, can upgrade to Pro Import AE 3.03 free of charge.  Additionally, Avid HD media support is currently available on the Windows platform only.
