Photoshop World Conference & Expo – Boston – September 7-9, 2005
(TAMPA, FL – July 14, 2005) Organizers of the Adobe-sponsored Photoshop World Conference & Expo are pleased to announce that Nikon, Inc. and Canon USA, Inc., two of the world’s most prominent digital SLR camera manufacturers, are both offering pre-conference workshops on Mon., Sept. 6, one-day prior to the conference’s official kick-off on Sept. 7 in Boston.
Continuing a long-standing Photoshop World tradition, Nikon (www.nikonusa.com) offers its half-day Nikon Photo Safari session. This all-time favorite pre-conference workshop is taught by award-winning photographer Vincent Versace and wildlife nature photographer Moose Peterson. An all-time favorite that quickly sells out, Nikon Photo Safari is limited to 50 participants because of the distinctive hands-on teaching approach Versace and Peterson provide.
For the first time, Canon (www.usa.canon.com/html/canonindex.html) is sponsoring its pre-conference “Canon ‘Live’ Studio & Digital Workflow Experience” workshop. During this exciting new workshop, participants will shoot side by side with commercial photographers Jack Reznicki and Eddie Tapp, learning how to set up a “live model” studio shoot and the latest in digital workflow techniques. Limited to just 30 participants, Canon’s new workshop will sell out soon.
Each of these pre-conference workshops requires a separate registration and charge, and are only open to Photoshop World Conference attendees. Especially developed for digital photographers interested in sharpening their skills and learning the latest cutting-edge digital techniques. These workshops are ideal for both professionals and amateurs.
Scott Kelby, conference technical chair, president of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and the world’s top-selling computer book author, heads up the biggest, most comprehensive Photoshop World Conference schedule (www.photoshopworld.com) and all-star instructor lineup (www.photoshopworld.com/instructor.html) to date. George Lepp, Jim DiVitale, David Ziser, Frank Cricchio, and many other legendary photographers are teaching at Photoshop World in Boston.
Photoshop World Conference & Expo is sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated and produced by NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals). NAPP is the largest graphic and digital imaging trade association with nearly 40,000 members worldwide, and the leading resource for Adobe® Photoshop® training, news, and education.
