Problems viewing tutorial videos.

Hello everyone I am having a problem streaming the creative cow tutorials. I'm sure that the problem is on my machine not with the website because this also happens sometimes on vimeo. When I play the videos they get distorted with lines and colours running everywhere on the player screen. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

I have a Asus i3 laptop running Windows 7.
