You didn't offend me, James. I am just very direct and want people to understand that this is a business and if they are not paying for it, someone else is.
You aren't the first person to run AdBlocker software but as time goes on, it becomes clearer to us that many sites that tried to do what we do are now premium sites that charge -- we still don't. We can do that because of the ads. They are not a nuisance, they are the reason that everyone gets this free.
That's all I am trying to say, James. It was not personal and I didn't mean what I said to be personal. It is merely that this costs a lot of money to run each month. Our authors and writers are paid, our staff is paid, our bandwidth suppliers and hardware suppliers get paid. It all has to come from somewhere.
That reality is unavoidable and we need to make that clear as we work on our redesign.
Thanks James and my apologies if my comments came across as a personal attack, they were merely a knee-jerk reaction to the thought of everyone using blockers. ;o)
