Robbie Carman is a Colorist and Online Editor with a focus on broadcast television and corporate communication. Robbie has 12 years of experience in SD and HD projects. Technical problem solving and workflow design are among his strengths.
Robbie is also the co-author with Jason Osder of Final Cut Pro Workflows: The Independent Studio Handbook. This exciting new book is now available from Focal Press.
Additionally he is the co-author of Final Cut Studio on the Spot 3rd Edition with Richard Harrington and Abba Shapiro.
Robbie, contributed as the technical editor to good friend Alexis Van Hurkman's The Encyclopedia of Color Correction for Final Cut Pro (Peach Pit) and the Apple Pro Training Series book Color by David Gross and Michael Wohl(Peach Pit)
Robbie also was the author of Color Essential Training and Getting Started with Apple Color for lynda.com
In addition to to creative work, Robbie is also an Apple Certified Instructor and teaches all levels of Final Cut Pro Studio. He teaches and speaks nationally at conferences such as NAB, The Editors Retreat, The NY Post Production conference, and GV Expo

Your seeing limitations of Colors scopes. Because the scopes used a scaled image (384 x 192) regardless of original image size you are going to get consistency errors - even though this supposedly allows Color's scopes to sample...
