My Tagged PostsRe: Questions about FCP 7 upgrade by Neil Sadwelkar on Oct 27, 2009 at 6:09:06 am in the Apple Final Cut Pro Forum On a running FCS2-FCP6 system if you upgrade to FCS3-FCP7, Livetype stays and is not deleted. If however, you choose to install Snow Leopard first and do an 'erase and install', then of course you lose Livetype.

With that you can import XML and export STL which you can import into DVD Studio Pro. Within DVD Studio... DPX laydown with Apple Color by Neil Sadwelkar on Aug 11, 2009 at 7:56:45 am in the Apple Final Cut Pro Forum If you have FCS 3 you have Apple Color installed. Apple Color can convert DPX or Cineon to Quicktime and scale it to HD or SD.
Here's your workflow...
Open Color
Set project settings to 720x576* and fps to your original DPX frame... Re: 60fps to 25fps for SD DVD PAL by Neil Sadwelkar on Aug 7, 2009 at 9:18:01 am in the Apple Final Cut Pro Forum I think there's a way to capture Varicam 720p60 at 24fps via some pulldown or pull up. Then just conform that to 25fps in CinemaTools, and you've got smooth video.
