System Details: OneRiver Media houses several workstations, which include Mac and Windows machines.
The main edit suite houses a dual G5 running OSX and multiple drive arrays. Included in the main suite are three 20" LCD displays, a 20" Sony PVM-20L5/1 video monitor and a 42" Panasonic TH-42PWD6 plasma screen (all at the editor's direct view), a Magni WVM-720 rasterizing waveform vectorscope and an Ensemble TC400 remote 4-channel TBC controller. Audio in this suite includes a Tascam DM-24 automated mixer, DigiDesign M-Box, Durrough 40-C2 loudness meters, Focusrite Voice Master Pro (for V.O. work), Behringer DEQ2496 audio processor/monitor, PreSonus Central Control talkback system (for V.O. booth), Tannoy 5.1 array monitors and KRK Rockit 5 near field monitors.
NLE systems and toys throughout the facility: AJA Kona2+Kbox, AJA iO, AJA Kona SD, Aurora PipePro, Aurora IgniterRT Film, DeckLink SP, DeckLink Pro and DeckLink Extreme. AJA D10CE, AJA D10A, Midiman Flying Cow, Sony BVW-70 BetaCam SP, Sony DSR-11 DVCam, JVC BRS811U S-VHS, Pioneer DVR-7000, Panasonic SV-3800 DAT, Sony PVM1943 component video monitor and Sony 14M2U 14" component video monitor. Tektronix, Magni and Videotek scopes. ADC and Behringer patchbays.
Audio Suite specs: Non-linear, automated, digital audio at 24-bit / 48/96kHz. Soundcraft DC2000 72-input console with flying fader automation. Tascam MX-2424 24-track digital multitrack recorder. ProTools, Digi002 and MOTU 1224 24-bit digital I/O integrated with Digital Performer. Thirty-two 24-bit digital automated tracks in total. Lock to picture. Fully balanced +4 audio throughout 624-point patchbay. Neumann TLM-103. Racks of modules, effects, pres, etc. Many keyboards, samplers, sounds, etc.
OneRiver Media uses other dual and single processor PC and Mac workstations for CGI, animation, etc. All workstations are networked together for seemless integration. We also have a dedicated 5-node render farm which can expand to 8 if required.
Software:
Final Cut Pro, FinalTouch HD, After Effects, Newtek Lightwave 3D, Motion, Ultimatte, Boris, DVD Studio Pro, Macromedia Director, Flash, Photoshop, Illustratotor, Commotion, ProTools, Digital Performer, Electric Image Animation System and of course mFactory mTropolis. Gobs of fonts and plug-ins are always on-hand.
Hobbies and Interests: In my off time I enjoy watching European Touring Car racing (DTM specifically) and racing BMW M3s at the local raceways and autocrosses. In March 2003 I finally drove the world famous Nürburgring racetrack in Germany.
