Damn it Jim, I'm an artist, not a geek! 175 Posts  View My Website View My Demo Reel System Details: Who cares? I'm tired of all the ever changing technology. NLE's were supposed to make editing less about the technology, but to me it seems like it's become more about the technology. Hobbies and Interests: Playing drums, ping-pong, volleyball, kayaking, chess, sci-fi, all of which I rarely if ever get to enjoy. Comments and Things Worth Noting: Lets remember that as creatives we are supposed to be about the art, not the freekin' technology. Let's try to keep the focus on the art, lest it be lost. Hi Roger, I am one of the Avid forum hosts and I noticed in your last post that you mentioned that there are many ameteurs coming into the pro editing arena and that you are looking for someone to teach you the Avid. Well, other than posting questions on the Cow I can't help you there, but, if you think it might be helpful for you, I have an e-book that I have written about how to edit like a pro. It's more about editing techniques and aesthetics and is meant to serve as a mentor to ameteurs who want to make their projects more professional.
