... and at home a dilapidated 17" MBP w/ FCS 2 and an MXO 2

Hobbies and Interests: sleeping, eating, playing with my kids and messing with my mac (although occasionally not in that order!)

started out as a software engineer programming Mac front-end/Unix back-end publishing systems ... got to play with all sorts of graphics apps (in the days before Photoshop) and discovered that I liked using them more than programming them.

Ripping the already compressed dvd copy of the video to an MP4 then transcoding yet again to DV or other format on top of that is just degrading the image more and more. If you can't get access to...

DV50 is a nice 8 bit 422 codec but IMX50 was a bit nicer ... at least according to the eye (and the scopes) of my engineering buddys...

Alex Just select all the clips, then choose Modify > Make Multiclip Sequnece ... Leave all settings at default and press OK. That'll create a Bin of multiclips and a Sequence Open the new sequence and you should find all those source...
